Rescued from the bottom of a bucket outside a food store, she was a victim of “I don’t need to spay or neuter MY dog,” and “One more litter of puppies won’t hurt.” Ginger’s life was short and painful. For three weeks we tried to save her. The final blood test revealed she had the lowest possible blood count and no bone marrow to speak of, she could barely stand: her lungs were filled with fluid, and there was no hope of recovery, no matter the cost. Ginger asks you to think of the millions of unwanted cats and dogs, who are fellow victims in this catastrophic overpopulation. Millions of ‘pets’ are killed and disposed of every year, the the U.
